89 Isuzu Trooper RS Diesel Offroad 4X4 Toyota Mitsubishi Jeep Land Rover G Wagon

This is a no-reserve auction in which Alabama Classics LLC offers another ultra rare and very nice-looking and nice riding/driving Off-road 4X4 vehicle.This 1989 Isuzu Trooper RS has a very cool and very expertly done conversion to the Isuzu C223 4 cylinder Diesel engine. While it won't win anydrag races, t does accelerate nicely to 75-80 mph and these engines easily achieve 25 mpg in the Isuzu P'up Diesel pickup trucks with 4 speed manual transmission.With a 5 Speed behind it in this Trooper RS it probably does just as well or better. This truck's previous ownergave up on it after a tough no-start condition kept him from getting it running.Eventually the electrical and fuel injection issue was solved here at Alabama Classics and now it runs great. A compression check on the engine revealed 400 psi or better on all cylinders. The engine is said to have only 110,000 miles on it and we believe it. There are a couple of issues with some rust along the driver's side rear quarter panel above the wheel well and on the driver's side lower windshield. But otherwise, or a 27 year old Isuzu Trooper, his truck isincredibly rust-free. These, ike most Japanese cars and trucks of the era, ere prone to bad cases of corrosion. The paint has a few surface scratches and blemishes, nd there are a few small dings and dents as typical on a 27 year old vehicle. Otherwise this Trooper is in great shape with a lovely sparkle and shine in itspaint.The ride quality is very nice. We replaced some rear suspension shackle bushings, ut otherwise the chassis is tight and the ride is very nice. The installer of the Diesel engine conversion wiredin a veryneat glow plug and cold-start injection switch leaving control of the glow plugs to the driver. All gauges function, ith a custom integrated Diesel tachometer that works well, o A/C but the heat does work well. Power steering, speed manual transmission, nd two-speed transfer case. While we do try to balance our enthusiasm for the beautiful vintage trucks that we bring to market with honest representations of our vehicles' flaws we may miss something from time to time so we encourage 3rd party inspections as well as for you to ask as many questions as you like.
