'65 E type Series I Roadster, no rust, drives superbly, Cal Blue plates

Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1965 Jaguar 4. 2 E Type Series I Roadster in Red with Black and a Black soft top and tonneau. Orange County California car still retaining its 6 digit Blue and Yellow license plate. Technically a one owner - bought by a collector a few years ago but not registered and still on its old pink slip. Correct style and year 4. 2 Series I E Type engine but not original to the car (original engine # 7E1669-9. now has engine # 7E5252-9). Color changed many years ago from Primrose. Condition: Superb straight and from what I can tell absolutely rust and accident free body with very good paint. Incredibly good trunk/spare wheel area with zero rust or signs of impact. Nice recent interior. excellent soft top. Superb mechanically with lots of power. good oil pressure. nice clutch and synchros. Brakes well and overall a delight to drive. Summary: This is a very high quality "turn key" Series I E Type the value of which is clearly diminished somewhat by the non original block and color change but it is in the top 5% in terms of body integrity and is a very genuine and usable Series I E Type.
