zero rust car,, uild date 12/61 sold and registered in 1962. This car was repainted once many years ago anddoesn't appear to have ever left the body shop as there is still masking tape (possibly from thirty or forty years ago) stillremaining is some areas. I purchased the car nonrunning. It now runs and drives, ll electronics work well.
recently the dunlop brakes calipers have been removed and rebuilt, uel pump rebuilt, arbs rebuilt, ew stainless steel exhaust installed, luids changed. It runs and drives but still needs a little TLC to make it a long distance driver.
The engine is not a matching number engine.
The body and floors are amazingly solid and nice. I looked closely at every corner and do not see and rust anywhere on it.
The bonnet has been repaired with a seem up the center. The passenger side is the original section with the welded louver, he drivers side section was changed and no longer has the welded louver.
Ibelieve the car is very complete and would be an extremely easy restoration.
