You will look and feel FABULOUS driving this car!!!! A subtle Jaguar 'Rasp' can be heard from the tail pipes when asked to move along! Paddle shifters are installed for fun. Smooth as silk when wafting along gracefully!
This Jaguar XK is the first year of the of the ADVANCED LIGHTWEIGHT MONOCOQUE ALUMINUM BODY normally aspirated 'honey' of a 4.2 motor which 'Car and Driver' originally tested at a zero to sixty of 5.9 seconds and returning 28MPG highway! Both incredible numbers to put down for sure.
This particular example can only be described as in excellent condition throughout. XK's I find, s a rule, end to be kept very well and this XK is no exception.
This 4.2 XK is the one to own and it is PRICED RIGHT! I have priced this Jaguar $3k under 'Kelley Blue Book' retail and more in line with private purchase pricing! (KBB 'Warrior's' beware... you'll have to come up something other than, 'well KBB says......''!) I kid, kid!
This car has been inspected and found to be mechanically and electrically superb. Those smooth riding 19'' factory wheels (infinitely better riding than 20s!) have very good and expensive Michelin A/S Sport tires all around (showing around 80% tread life remaining) staggered 275/35/19s rear 245/40/19s front for that muscular Jaguar stance we all know and love.
The paintwork is superb and gleams!!! The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and all electrical components, ncluding the convertible top operate as they should. All as expected.
ABSOLUTELY NO ACCIDENTS reported on this car !!!!!
This is a NON SMOKER car!!! The interior is absolutely gorgeous showing barely any wear even on the driver's seat...and the interior has that fresh new smell about it!
FROST BLUE/CARAMEL color combo XK's are highly desirable, ard to find and will hold their value well. I am having a tough time locating strong examples of these Convertibles right now so please don't delay if you want to own a nice one!
