This is the one you are looking for. Beautiful XKR Convertible. Everything works as it should Runs incredibly well with no issues whatsoever. Lunar Grey exterior, lack top and light cream leather. Has power, eated seats, C, D, atellite, avigation, addle-shift, og-lights, 0" upgraded alloys, ruise, mean, ost everything you can think of. I should mention that every time i take this thing out, get comments and "thumbs-ups" and people stopping me at the gas station to admire it. You WILL turn heads and get lots of questions and comments. It is a few years old but does not look it.
I purchased in November of 2013 as a secondary vehicle and have put approx 13k on it since having it. It has been kept in the garage every day/night sine I have owned it and I have made a point of not driving it in the rain...only got caught in one unexpected shower last summer and it bothered me a lot. A little OCD I know but the point is, 've done my best to take excellent care of this vehicle while in my care. It is not absolutely perfect but super-nice and you will not be disappointed. As liste, t is a 2007 and has been driven so it has a some minor rash on the wheels (there when I purchased) and a couple of minor scratches but nothing major at all. I have had only a couple issues with the vehicle in the 19mos I've owned it. I had an issue with the AC/heat fan and had it replaced at the Jaguar dealer in Alpharetta GA last year. They also re-routed the AC condensation drain which, pparently was the cause of the fan's demise. Also replaced the alternator in 2014. I have changed the oil (Full Synthetic) regularly and waxed it 3 times including last weekend. Toyo Proxes are approximately 1500 miles old and brakes/rotors were changed at that time also. Beautiful car that is so fun to drive and sounds amazing. Check out YouTube for video/audio of the XKR and its "exhaust-note"...gives me chills to rev it and hear that beautiful noise! On that note, have described being carful/particul with it and I really have. No burn-outs or racing for me. I am a middle-aged guy with a truck that I drive most days and every day that it rains, nows, tc.. Jag sits in the dry garage and well protected.
There are a couple of things I can say are not perfect. One is the power antenna doesn't come up when you turn on the radio. I haven't tried to address it because I don't listen to the radio. I listen to XM radio which uses the trunk-mounted satellite receiver. The other is that there is a crack in the left-rear tail light. Not a hole but a small crack. You won't see it unless you are looking for it. Have thought about looking for a replacement but just never have pulled the trigger, orry. That's about it. I believe in full disclosure so there's no surprises.
Why sell? Well, 'm really torn. Even as I write this, 'm second-guessing. I really love the car but I don't really drive it very often. I have 3 other cars and my wife and I are always doing the "car shuffle" to get the right car out of the garage or accessible in the driveway. It's really just time for me to consolidate my older truck and this beautiful, un, mazing Jag and replace with a single, ewer multi-function vehicle. Anyway, f this doesn't sell for what I want, 'll just keep it. Don't really "need" to sell in other words.
I know whoever gets this one will absolutely love it as I have.
Good luck and happy bidding!
*****A note about the one report of the "Minor Accident" mentioned in the vehicle report. I reported an individual who bumped into my left-rear wheel in traffic one day. I initially thought he had hit the rear quarter of the car but the only contact found some black rubber that his tire transferred to the surface of my wheel. This came off with some cleaning and there was no lasting damage. No body panels were damaged and no actual repairs were needed.
