REPO!NO RESERVE!1995 JAGUAR XJS 2+2 CONVERTIBLE96. 00 MILESThis is a clean 95 Jaguar XJS 2+2 Convertible. Has the 4. 0 6cyl motor. It is in the very desirable Black with Tan interior with a Black top. The interior in this car is in fantastic condition. It is one of the nicest interiors I've seen in a convertible. Both power seats work. Heat works. I have not tested the A/C due to extreme cold weather we've been having. It is a non smoker car. The convertible top is also in very good condition. I couldn't find any rips. tears. runs in the seams. or anything other than normal wear. The power top goes up and down fine. The rear drivers side window doesn't always go down. The boot is in the trunk. I did not put it on. The exterior of the car is in pretty good shape for being 20 years old. The paint shines up nice. There are some dents on the hood that aren't all that noticeable. There is also a dent on the truck lid. With this being a black car. it really hides those imperfections well. There is a scuff on the front corner of the bumper and the front spoiler/air dam is beat up. There are some other scratches that you can see in the pics. Nothing major at all. One of the rear tail light lens has some minor scratching. Tires are in ok condition and will probably get you through the summer. Some of the clear coat has peeled off on the wheels. The motor runs great and the car shifts very well. The car does need some front end work. Because of that I wouldn't recommend driving the car home if you live far from here. I had our mechanic look it over. He DID NOT do a 100 point inspection or anything. These are some of the things that were noted that needed replacing or repair. It doesn't always want to latch. There is too much play in one of the front hinges. You have to be careful how you close it. You can see a small spot near the corner of the hood where there is some wear in the paint because it doesn't line up correctly without help. All this being said. this is still a very nice and classy low mileage car. The work that it needs is not major work and will not be too expensive. Please ask all questions on this car before bidding. On Feb-27-15 at 09:53:39 PST. seller added the following information: I was showing the Jaguar today and wanted to share the following. The parking brake. ABS. and radiator lights are all on. I am unable to get the hood to latch. It almost sits flush with the body. I will try to get it shut. While operating the top. the switch may have a short in it. It wasn't cooperating going up until I moved it around a bit. There is a pic of the back bumper on the ad. I wanted to express that there are some scuffs and scratches on the back bumper that the pic didn't show too well. I've been getting questions about being able to drive this car a long distance home.
