Up for Auction 1998 supercharged Jaguar XJR offered with LOW RESERVE.This car is dedicated to the great late Steve McQueen.British racing green with light beige (called oatmeal) interior.The car has been updated mechanically and cosmetically to keep everything working properly.No accidents. CA registration has been paid until 2/2017. Car IS CALIFORNIA NATIVE except when it was for sale in PA.
The car runs quiet and smooth at idle and accelerates very fast.The supercharged XJRs of this era go from 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds according to the manufacturer's specs. Garage kept, ust free.

Mechanical:
The following has been performed at 83,800 & 86,800 miles by an independent Jaguar shop in Culver City, A costing $3700. Receipts are available.
- Upper timing chain tensioners, HAVE BEEN REPLACED (notorious for failing and resulting in engine rebuild).
- Fuel pumps (dual) were making noise and have been replaced.
- Squealing serpentine belt was replaced.
- Oil change/tune up was performed.
- Front brake pads were replaced. Rear brakes have 80% pads remaining.
- Radio antennae mast was replaced and working perfectly.
- Air conditioning blows icy cold air. Recent conditioning andvacuumed.
- Absolutely no oil leaks.
Electrical:
- All electrical parts work perfectly.
- Sunroof works.
- Headlights and fog lights have no typical rock chips, ogging or pitting because they were all replaced with nearly new ones.
Paint:
The non-metallic dark green paint is in Very good condition but not perfect . There are some rock chips, inor scratches and dimples. There are some cracks in the paint on the rear bumper, oo small to be seen in photos.
Chrome and Rubber:
- They are all in excellent condition. Chrome parts show no pitting or clouding. Weatherstripping is in great shape with no fading or cracking.

Interior:
It is in excellent shape overall.
- A non-smoker.
- Floor mats are new.
- The center console with cup holders was replaced with a perfect one (a known weak part).
- All manuals and literature included.
- 2 sets of keys and working remotes.

Tires:Good Year Eagle GT (255/40ZR18) tires have 90% treads remaining on all four.

VERY CLEAN CARFAX. NO ACCIDENTS, nbsp;VERY LOW MILEAGE.
