Description

This 1998 Supercharged JaguarXJR has a very good V8 engine and automatictransmission. It looks and runs great! It has a salvage title because it was sold to a wrecking yard and the wrecking yard thought it was too nice to part out so it was sold to me about 3 years ago. Once a vehicle has been sold to a wrecking yard in California it automatically becomes a salvage vehicle. The previous owner sold it to them because it had a bad transmission. I purchased a good used low mileagetransmission with 45,000 miles on it and had it installed and it's been running fine ever since. It has 370 Horse Power and it's very smooth andfast! The paint is very nice. It had some oxidation around the body and I had it spot paintedlast yearwith 2 stage clear coat paint and it came out very nice. The body is straight and rust free. It has fabric seat covers on the front seats because the front seats have some rips in the leather. The headliner is sagging but the car will come with (see last picture) a good used original headliner. The dash, door panels and carpet are fine. The rear seat is good. The A/C is ice cold and the heater works fine. The supercharger has a bearing noise thatquiets downonce the car is up to speed. The coupler inside the supercharger was replaced with the upgraded coupler recently. It will need the needle bearings in the rear of the superchargerreplaced to get rid of the noise. The noise does not affect the performance. It had about94,000 miles on it when I purchased it and now it has 108.000 miles. All ofthe power windows work fine but the sunroof does not work. The tires have some good tread left on them and it has good brake, exhaustand suspension systems. All of the lights work. Recent work done: New Battery, New Brakes, Throttle Body Service, New Upgraded Supercharger CouplerandNew Serpentine Belt. Call 714-728-2675 for more information. I can arrange domestic or overseas transport.
