Original 1985 Jaguar XJS coupe 5.3L SHOW CAR potential 47,300 miles NO RESERVE!

RARE YEAR! 1985 Jaguar XJS V1247. 00 Miles!Amazing running condition!! This car is 95% original and the v12 engine runs like new! $1500 of work was done in August of this year. Both Oil pan gaskets. valve cover gaskets. and transmission pan gaskets have been replaced. The oil sending unit. transmission axle seal has been replaced and the oil and transmission fluid was changed. It has a brand new battery as well which I replaced 2 weeks ago (receipt included). The car has been completely rewired to be more reliable and a kill switch has been installed for winter storage! This car has never been driven in the winter and has only been used for weekend drives. There a few things the car needs. A new power steering pump might have to be installed soon. The Front fog lights have been removed. There was a crack in the black plastic cover on the front bumper as well so I removed it because there is a metal bumper underneath. Have not had a chance to reorder the bumper but you can get an original from another XJS for $150-$300. The actual metal bumper was not effected and just needs a new plastic cover. Also. I have one of the original fog lights still if you would like to reinstall them. All 5 wheels are original. Tires have 95% tread left and were replaced in October 2014 at Bell tire. A/C blows cold but will need to be recharged. I do this every season when I get my car out of winter storage! Wiring to the speakers is loose and will sometimes turn on and off on a bumpy road so this will have to be fixed if you want the radio to work 100% of the time. The leather is in great condition and can easily be restored instead of replaced if you prefer to keep the vehicle all original. There is no loose stitiching and just one small tear in the drivers seat. The paint is mostly original as well and in good condition with just a few imperfections that I have photographed. It is a beautiful and rare cobalt blue. All car repairs and service checks have been meticulously documented from 1984 to 2002. A list of everything done to the car between these years is included in the photos. After 2002 I have a few records but not all of them. I have some records from 2006 and various receipts for the most recent work from August 18th of this year. This car has a Clean Green MICHIGAN title! Please see photos for imperfections.
