Description |
---|
Sold for parts or as a Jag enthusiast's pet project, this vehicle has not been driven for the past 4 years due to seller being abroad the whole time. It was being driven until leaving the country in June 2012, but just before going one cylinder developed a miss-fire, and a rocker cover seal became in need of replacement, plus the cabin headlining was sagging in places. No attempt has been made to start the car since returning in March 2016. It needs a new battery and the gasoline pumped out and replaced plus a full service and vehicle check. Tyres will be suspect. There is oxidation of paintwork in some places. There may be other issues due to long non-use. The car has a rebuilt transmission. It is sold as seen and carefully inspected by the buyer; and the buyer is responsible for shipping/collection.
When in use the vehicle was being serviced by Evans Automotive, Easton, Columbus, OH 43231 (614-471-7535) (EvansAuto.com). Seller does not have a paper-documented service history but there should be a digital history.
