The XJ8 was/is my dream car. I love the lines of the older Jags and when the opportunity arose in 2010 I pounced (pun intended). I am the 3rd owner, the 2 prior owners were relatedand it has been garage-kept these last 6 years. This was my “fun” car and as such I put less than 5,000 miles on it and now it’s time to pass it along to someone who will drive it more often than I did.

Engine: 4.0 liter 8-cylinder with automatic transmission, 290 horsepower (4.0L V8 SFI DOHC 32V)

Exterior is in very good/excellent condition; no dents/scratches or damage to paint or clear coat.

Battery is 2-1/2 years old. I had the front brake pads replaced and the rotors serviced shortly after I purchased the car. Based on the manufacture date, the tires (Continental) have approximately 15kmiles on them but there is still plenty of tread.

Of Note: The rear driver-side door lock must be manually operated. The radio antenna does not retract completely (mechanic said it needs a new motor). The original inspection I had done prior to buying the car noted the rear shocks were “fair”, this is not my primary car and they felt fine to me so I didn’t have them replaced. The leather seats are generally in good condition; there are some scratches on the rear seat and the driver’s seat shows some signs of wear. The Car Fax report I purchased in 2010 lists an August 2005 accident. The previous owner told me it was a low-speed fender-bender and the inspection I had done indicated no damage to the frame.

This is a non-smoker vehicle (no extra charge for any dog hair that may have evaded the vacuum… my Lab rode in it only a handful of times.)

Title is clean, clear, and in my possession. This car is sold without warranties, and is as is/where is.

High bidder wins; a $500 non-refundable deposit is due within48 hours of the auction’s end (via PayPal). Non payers will be reported to eBay.

Remainder of bid must be paid in cash or cashier’s check; no personal check, no exceptions. Transfer must be complete within7 days of end of bidding, unless other mutually agreed to arrangements have been made.
