Please read the description carefully. This 1998 Jaguar XK8 Coupe is in need of your help. If you are at all interested in this Jag it is because you know that coupes are hard to find and when correct one of the most beautiful cars ever. This Jaguar is a sturdy runner but with a crummy paint job. Why it was painted I do not know. The left front fender shows previous work and the right side door is very wavy. I do not think any panels have been replaced. The interior for the most part is very good. The only bad spot is the Wear on the driver’s seat bolster. I have had repairs done in the past without buying new covers as they simply sew in a new insert. By the way the wood is beautiful. This Jag actually runs very well and the A/C is cold. The wheels are expensive aftermarket ones with decent tires as the tread remaining is a least 35/40%. There is no cover for the trunk area that houses the spare tire. The only other negative experience that I have had is that the door lock system does not work if the car sits for any length of time so do not lock it if storing for a period of time. It may be just a battery in the remote or something in the driver’s door handle that is causing the problem. Look at the pictures carefully. As always if you have any questions simply call or email. KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. Out of state residents will add $128 to cover title fees, mailing costs, temporary tags, etc. Contact to be made by winning bidder within business 24 hours and a minimum partial payment to be made within 72 hours of auction end. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.
All bidders must understand and agree that we reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time for any reason and we shall not be held liable for any such cancellation or closure. Unqualified or deadbeat bidding, auction interference, or any for of harassment will be subject to legal prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
