1971 CJ 5 Renegede II Frame of Restoration Show Winner

You are looking at a rare1971 CJ 5 Renegade II with a custom gray paint color (Gray was not offered on the Renegade II). Frame off restoration was completed 10/2014 it was a two year project. a labor of love. I need to sale to complete my 79 CJ 7 Golden Eagle and send my Daughter to school. All the brake system was replaced with original replacement parts. Installed new front locking hubs and universal joints. Installed new seal in transmission and transfer case. Rebuilt the steering box and installed a SS custom tilt steering column. Put a 1 12" body lift 3/4" suspension lift on front. New 15x33x12. 50 General Tires on New Ion aluminum wheels. Replaced both front fenders and both side panels with new ones due to rust. Sprayed the under side and interior as well as the engine bay with Rock- Hard bed-liner material including the fender and hood. Custom fabricated front. nbsp;rear bumpers and nerf bars which was sprayed with bed-liner material also. Replaced Radiator. water pump. timing chain and gears. Replaced the old points style distributor with new GM style distributor. Engine is original has not been rebuilt compression check is reading 135 to 140. Engine runs good as new. Replaced all headlights and marker lights with new factory replacements. Replaced and relocated rear backup lights and tail lights with LED lights. Replaced heater and duct work for defroster with new universal style heater. Installed custom steering wheel to match black custom dash. Installed new Reclining front seat. nbsp;Tumble and Folding rear seat. Removed chains from tail gate and installed cables and custom latches. Too Much to mention all.
