1982 Jeep CJ5 Laredo

1982 Jeep CJ5 Laredo in great cosmetic and mechanical condition. I drive this jeep regularly and most every day during the summer with no issues. It does have a few minor rust spots along the bottom of the body. but is minimal for this old of a Jeep. I will show them in the pics. I have had this Jeep on the interstate to and from work many times at 70+ mph and it rides great for an old CJ. NO DEATH WOBBLE!!! I hate to let this jewel go. but with a wife and 3 kiddos who want to ride along. I guess it is time to break down and buy a 4 door. Below are some of the detail. upgrades. and any known issues. Thanks for your interest. 128. 00 original miles. 258 inline 6. Motor rebuilt approx 20. 00 miles ago. Runs perfectly!! 5 matching Mickey Thompsom aluminum wheels with 4 like new BFG ATs and 1 new Pro Comp Exterrain as the spare. All are 33x12. 5 R15 ($2000 in just wheels and tires) 2. 5 inch lift with new shackles. Skyjacker Nitro 8000 shocks. and Skyjacker steering stabilizer 4inch aluminum wheels spacers to give it a wider more aggressive stance Best Top soft top and doors. Bikini top. Both are in great condition with no rips or cracks. New master cylinder New windshield washer unit New muffler and tailpipe Custom made front and rear tube bumpers with heavy duty spare carrier Heater box rebuilt this past winter. Installed new heater core and upgraded blower motor to a larger blazer blower motor. Installed all new heater control cable pulls. ( A CJ THAT ACTUALLY GETS HOT WHEN THE HEAT IS ON!!!) New rear axle hubs All original gauges and knobs. All gauges work except temp gauge and dash clock. All gauge lights. blinkers. dash lights work. Horn does not work. After market stereo with small truck speakers under the seats. Original dash speakers do not work. Frame is in good condition Tranny shifts perfectly with no issues 4x4 works perfectly. Used it several times this past winter. New high lift jack mounted behind spare tire. Original jack still under the hood! Seats are not original and could stand to be recovered. They have been stitched in few places. nbsp;but still fine for use as is. Missing rear seat Inside of tub has DIY bedliner and is flaking in few places. If I were to keep it. I would go ahead and spend the $$$ for the good spray in Rhino liner. Hood has small crease across it with small paint chips from previous owner dropping it against windshield frame when opening hood (Shown in pics) As mentioned above. this Jeep does have minor rust spots and some minor flaws. I have done my best to describe everything about it. IT IS NOT IN PERFECT MINT SHOW CONDITION. Do not bid if you expect perfection. For 33 years old. the Jeep is in great condition and is very hard to find. It would make for an excellent full restoration or just keep it as is for an every day fun run around Jeep!!!
