Have you been looking for a classic Jeep Cherokee XJ that's still stock. well maintained and doesn't have a ton of miles on it? Well. here's that needle in a haystack and it's now available for a new owner. This is a 2-Owner ( I am the 2nd) clear Auto Check/ CarFax southern owned Cherokee loaded up with almost all the options you could get in 1996. It was the last model year of this style. and the first year for the gorgeous Stone White paint color. The pictures speak for themselves. and I venture to say it's likely one of the nicest original style XJ's available anywhere. let alone for sale. This has been a daily driver to and from work for my 1/2 mile commute. No tow package so it hasn't been used for hauling. Has less than 98. 00 original miles! It is remarkably rust-free . nbsp; original paint. no accidents known. Washed weekly and mostly garage kept. It's not burning or leaking oil. even the techs at the local Jeep dealer commented how "dry" it is underneath. The 4. 0 HO Inline 6 has gobs of power. The near bullet proof AW4 Transmission shifts quick and smooth. Tried and true Command Trac slides in and out of 4x4 without issue. Front windows are tinted. - Michelin LTX white letter tires all around that have plenty of tread-life - A/C blows cold. heat blows hot- Factory key-less entry works (Comes with 1 fob and 3 keys) - 6 way power driver seat - Leather interior I have had a lot of routine and general maintenance items done already which means a new owner doesn't have to. including: - Heavy duty battery - Monroe shocks all around- Sway bar & end link bushings front- Front and rear differential fluid - Recent oil change - Pioneer speakers- Drive belt- Muffler - O2 sensors (both upstream and downstream)- Crank Position Sensor (was not bad. just for up-keep) - Idle Air Control sensor ( was dirty so I replaced) With that said. this Jeep is almost 20 years old and has some minor flaws to note;- Cruise control works when it wants to. might be something simple to address but this isn't my trip car so I don't use it much - Headliner sags in a few spots. I did have the rear speaker soundbar professionally redone because it was pretty bad. - There is a paint rub on one rear bumper caps and a couple on the driver side rear fender flare. - The driver seat has light wear and a small 1/2 inch tear in the leather on the bolster. - The small hose that connects the rear wiper washer fluid to the tailgate broke (the wiper itself works fine)- A couple door dings and rock chips as can be expected **If you have a REALISTIC buy it now offer. please email me at chrismo757@gmail. com .
