I am selling my 1949 Willys CJ3A project not because I don't love it. but because I am moving to the east coast and need to lighten my load. The body and frame are rusty but in my opinion salvageable. The picture of the speedometer shows 26521 miles but I have no way to verify that. The engine that was in it when I bought it was completely toast. So I bought running engine with good compression and put new gaskets all around. The engine is currently on a stand that comes with it. I have a brand new carb. coil. fuel pump. K&N air filter. electronic distributor. 1 wire GM alternator with mounting kit. oil lines. oil filter. motor mounts and clutch kit. not to mention other little misc items. I will also throw in new steel line material and fittings to bend new brake and fuel lines. The grill is not stock CJ3A. it's from a WWII MB. Also. there is no rear seat but the fronts are in good condition. Besides all the typical rust for a vehicle of this age. the one item that I did not notice when I bought this project were the cracks and bad welding around the front cross member. It's an easy fix if you have a welder and some skill but still worth noting. This Jeep has a serial number plate and I will give you a bill of sale. but it DOES NOT HAVE A PINK SLIP OR TITLE. If you keep it in California you will have to get it running. take it to a CHP office for the VIN inspection/issuance and deal with DMV. It's not a big deal but required because the vehicle is so old and off the record for so long. If you have any questions or concerns. please feel free to contact me prior to auction end. Pick up only! But. I will be glad to deal with a pick up service. provided you have paid in full. This vehicle was built in 1949. It comes with absolutely no warranty or guarantee of any type. Buyer assumes all responsibility for shipping and registration.
