Up for auction is my 1983 Jeep CJ5. It has a clear NC title and I have it in hand. From the history I have gathered about this Jeep. it was rebuilt around 2001. The previous owner (that I purchased it from) acquired this as a payment of a debt from a business partner. He traveled with work and since around 2005 it was stored at his sisters house in Raleigh. NC. It has seen very limited use over the past 10 years. Estimated less than 5. 00 miles since rebuild. In the summer of 2013 the shift fork in the transmission broke and it was left parked until I purchased it in November 2014. When I received it was non-running and had electrical issues. I have since repaired the transmission. gone through the electrical system and brought all maintenance current. I drive it 4-5 times a week now and it always cranks right up. It runs great and is a blast to run errands around town in. Top speed seem to be around 45-55. I have not driven it on the interstate but the previous owner said he used to drive it to the beach. It does drive like a Jeep though. The exhaust is loud. the ride is stiff. and the steering does have some play. It has been Prewired for a trailer pigtail and a tow bar is included in the sale. It is set to up to flat tow. Hook to your truck and tow it home. I can also deliver within 200 hundred miles of my house for $1 per mile one way. Contact me for details. Below I have tried to describe it the best of my ability. I know there are things I'm forgetting. This is a NO RESERVE auction.
