Description

Dent in the driver fender from branches, ent in rear left quarter panel from branches, oth minimal. The two rusted areas, re by the JEEP logo on the door frame, etween the hinges and the wheel well. They are the most severe. The floor boards are solid and will provide additional pictures upon request. I paid L&S automotive in Louisiana to install a re manufactured motor, hich was $5,500 which I have paperwork for upon request, ll have to find it. This vehicle was legally registered in Connecticut and Louisiana, nd driven daily. I have decided to cut my losses and not invest into making my Jeep Colorado legal. Colorado has very strict air care laws. I have pictures of the failed emissions test from the Denver DMV Technical Center.
As for other things. Ive invested a lot of money into this Jeep. Once again it is the only vehicle I have ever owned. That includes, he motor, ransmission and parts, teering column, indshield and frame, ardtop, nterior carpet, ll three seats, ash pad, oll bar and pad, rail gate and tire hanger. I paid a shop to replace the brake lines, plitter, nd install a power brake booster along with a new master cylinder. I did not replace the drums, ut the shoes and hardware were replaced. . The frame is solid and untouched as well as most of the body because this Jeep was equipped with a Rusty Jones car saver system back in 1985. I repeat, his Jeep is SOLID. The hardtop I purchased used from a 4WD shop, paid 300$ and all it needs is a new rear window frame. The doors are from a donor Jeep, hey work except for the drivers door lock, he key will unlock the door but it is difficult and makes me think that the key will bend if used repeatedly. I usually do not lock my jeep, or there is nothing but heavy tools to steal. The most recent purchases were fluids, ncluding transmission, ith Lucas oil stabilizers, to ready for sale) a Duralast gold battery, urchased a month ago, nd three new mirrors.
