1995 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4 4-Door 4.0L Lifted

This Jeep Cherokee Sport is in excellent condition for its age. It is however 20 years old so it has its fair share of scuffs. The clear coat is coming off in spots but the hard to find Hunter Green paint still shines nice in most places. The rocker panels have been bed lined. There is no rust anywhere on this Jeep. It has lived its life in the South. It has a 4" rough country lift with 33" MTZ tires.The tires have30-40% tread remaining sitting on Pro Comp black lock wheels with stainless bolts. The rear springs sag a little bit and could really stand to be replaced. I will include an extra set of springs in the sale.

Mechanically the vehicle is sound. The 4.0L HO engine runs strong, t was replaced about 3 years ago. It does smoke a little from time to time and it does use oil. Has a few leaks here and there but nothing terrible. The vehicle has 264,300+ but the engine is around 120-130,000. The radiator is new, he water pump is new and the alternator is new. It has a recent tune up and fresh brakes.

Icannot say 100% that the 4x4 is working. A few years ago we lost the velocity joint in the front end and it broke the t-case. We replaced the t-case but never put the driveshaft back in. The Automatic transmission is strong and smooth, rakes are good. A/C is cold and heat is good. Interior is 7 of 10. No tears or bad stains. All carpet in tact. Headliner is there but no fabric. Nice stereo. Everything works electronically. There is a plastic piece missing around the steering column that I would like to find to replace.

Cruise control works, ipers work front and rear as well as rear defroster. Windows all work and locks all work except right rear passenger door. The lock works just not electrically. Custom exhaust sounds great. Has catalytic converter but we don't run a muffler and we shortened the pipe. The Jeep has a small tow hitch.

I have tried to the best of my ability to depict the Jeep in its true form. I have nothing to hide. I really don't want my son to sell it but as he is now living out of state and has to drive a lot more, e needs something a little more travel friendly. Obviously the lift and bigger tires affect the fuel mileage. THAT IS THE ONLY AND I MEAN THE ONLY REASON WE ARE OFFERING IT FOR SALE!. I truly don't want to sell this Jeep. This isa great Jeep. It does have a few things here and there that need attention but nothing that causes any danger or unreliability. This Jeep has no "death wobble" and will travel down the interstate at 70 with no issues. The tires are very noisy and hard to balance.But if you are used to driving with big tires and custom wheels you know what I'm talking about. They do have scuffs and cuts from off road use but they all hold air like they should. The right rear is the most worn but still has about 30% tread remaining.This Jeep has seen it's fair share of mud but has never been used as a "trail rig". I would drive it anywhere.
