1979 Jeep CJ5 Base Sport Utility 2-Door 5.0L

Up for sale is my project Jeep that I have poured way too much money into…

It is a 1979 CJ5 with a V8 304 engine and manual 3 speed transmission.

The Good

New interior – new seats, ew center console, ew carpet, ew black Hurculiner on interior surfaces, ew custom dash and all new gauges, ome new wiring, ew steering wheel, ew crash pad, ew sun visors, ew seat belts, ew speedometer cable, ew interior lights, ew exterior lights, ew heating and cooling cables.

Tires, ess than 1,000 miles on them, ith new spare ($900 value)

New top, months old and matching spare cover

New diamond trend body armor

New mirrors and exterior hardware

New underbody coating done with Rhino Lining Underbody Coat

Engine wise – new ECM, ew coil, ew battery shelf and wiring, ll new hoses (not installed), ew gas tank, ender and hoses

New transmission, ot rebuilt… NEW.

The Bad

Needs a new starter (which I will include)

Needs a new oil pan gasket

Oil pressure and temp gauge not wired to the engine, ut are run… I will include the new sensors required

This Jeep looks awesome and drives great! It is a pain to get started hence the new starter, just didn’t get around to putting it on.

It runs fine once you get is started.

I have no clue how many miles it has, s the speedo it came with didn’t work, ut it read 54,659. The new speedo works.

It has a loud duel exhaust, hich isn’t really my thing, ut maybe you like that? LOL

I have put over $8000 in this Baby and to be honest, lew my budget.
