2000 Cherokee Complete 6.5" Long Arm Build

My son and I bought this Cherokee for dad. (That’s Me!) as my son had a Wrangler and he wanted a little father-son outdoor bonding. One thing you have to know about me, s I will not be outdone. So the challenge is on and I set out to build a Cherokee that would make any Jeep enthusiast green with envy. We spent 100s of hours researching and reading every Jeep blog there is for the best parts and tech to make this a MEAN MACHINE. One thing I will promise you is, ou WILL turn heads. Mechanically, ou get an off road BEAST with power to spare and is built for bullet proof reliability as it is no fun sitting on the side of the trail.

Below is a complete list of what the Cherokee has to offer, ut here are the highlights.The engine breathes through new snorkel kit via a K&N Cold Air intake and exhales through aFlowmaster Performance Exhaust. It creates gobs of power andhas athroaty growl thatjust sounds bad. The light packageincludes military grade LEDs which will light up the darkest forest. These things turn night into day.Interiorhas all kinds of upgrades including new waterproof racing seats with cut outs for 5 point racing harness (not included) and a Sony Sound Deck with a 400 Watt Visonick amplifier and a pair of 12” Visonik Sub woofers for cranking your favorite music while heading for the extreme country.

STAGE 4+ CHEROKEE

6.5” Rough Country X-Series Long Arm, YE, V Shaft & Stabilizer. Why go with a 4.5” or less cheap kit when you can have the pro setup for slightly more. When we built this for the last 2 years, e kept upgrading and making this Cherokee more extreme in every decision. This Cherokee is built for long trouble free enjoyment.

There is so much I do not remember on all of the upgrades and parts but this gives you a good idea of how amazing this Cherokee build is… Now that it is built and ready for play, ow my son has sold his Wrangler and moved on to xtreme buggy’s and YES I am going to build one too. This Cherokee is not just a look good 4x4 but actually built to take out in to the back country and is a great everyday driver too. I wanted to build something I could drive everyday and take out to the national forest on the weekends. This Long Arm Cherokee is finally 99% complete and we have taken it out twice for testing. She loves the outback! We haven’t done the paint/body but as you can see, t is in very good condition and we have bought replacement body parts which are included with the sale, n preparation. There is only 2 minor items 1. Front end shimmy over 65 miles per hour (maybe wheel balance or maybe a 4 wheel alignment) 2. Intermittent electrical hiccup, ngine sputters intermittently about every 1,000 miles only for 30 seconds and then it’s gone. If it does it this week, will get it fixed while it is present. I know that these are pretty minor but I want you to know EVRERTHING about this amazing Cherokee upfront.
We started out with a good clean Cherokee for $3500 and then added all of the above parts and upgrades, otaling over $19,000 in upgrades plus all of the parts I don’t remember and favors for labor that we did not ad in… and most of all the 100s of man hours that cannot be paid for or replaced by me and my son. It comes with a 3 ring binder of most of the receipts and parts used in this build. This is one mean machine and needs a new home now that she is done.
