Description

1978 Jeep CJ 7 - Manual 3 speed - Straight 6 - 4 X 4 - Red Exterior, an Interior, lack Soft Top, lack Soft Doors (2 Brand New & 2 Older).
This is an excellent daily driver. I am selling because I am moving out of the country...Unfortunately, am moving in a couple of weeks so I am selling it for far less than what it is valued at...... $11,800
Numerous items have been replaced. I will try to remember most!
  • Installed new front and rear seats 9/2015
  • New Bikini Top 6/2015
  • Replaced brakes 7/2015
  • Have new brake booster (not installed)
  • New Steering Column
  • New Best Top Installed 11/2015. Complete with all new hardware, indows, nd doors
  • New windshield Wipers 7/2015
  • Tires have 85% Tread....5 tires
  • New Stereo / Speakers 6/2015
  • New Rugged Ridge Center Console 7/2015
  • New Battery 9/2015
  • Have New Speedometer Assembly - Temp, uel, mps, il, i Beam, nd Turn Signal Gauges and Speedometer Cable ...not installed. The installed gauges work fine, ut speedometer is off by 9 mph
  • Installed New Side Mirrors with new brackets
  • New Seat belts - Front and Rear (Navy Blue with silver buckle)
  • Added a Temperature Cap on Radiator - so you can always see the exact temperature it is running
  • Two Fire Extinguishers on Roll Bar
  • Minimal Rust
  • Large Antenna
  • Tow Package - Reese Hitch
  • Tow Hooks
  • 2 Extra New Doors
  • Plus numerous other items.....
Items that I had intended to replace in the next six months:
  • Replace seals and gaskets....it is leaking oil, ot a lot, ut replacing the gaskets is simple maintenance.
  • Replace clutch....it is starting to grind if you try to go in reverse while Jeep is running. Simple....either start it in reverse or roll as needed.
I hate having to sell this Jeep. It is hard to find a CJ7 of this age that runs this well. It is full of power and character......
