1986 Jeep CJ7 Base Sport Utility 2-Door 4.2L

Original. stock. unmolested and Rust Free 1986 AMC jeep Cj7. last production year. Exterior: Garnet Red. one repaint matching original Code 3C in its life. Hardtop. Bikini Top and Color matched Steel Doors. Original Jeep wheels. Tires have plenty of thread. however a few stress cracks on sidewalls ( Might need replacing at some point. but the ride is smooth at this point. Interior: All original Red Vinyl with matching Carpet. Tilt steering wheel. reconditioned Hardtop ( interior paint and Rear window hardware). Drivetrain:AMC 256 4. 2L. 141. 5 K miles (super compression. has possibly been rebuilt at some point since it is running very smooth and is not burning any oil at all. Do not have any record of rebuilt though. )AMC 20 Front Diff. Dana 300 TC. AMC 20 Rear. Borg Warner 5 speed transmission. Front Disk Brakes and Rear Drums. 20 Gal TankPower SteeringOther pertinent information :Fluids changed in the last 2 months (Oil. Coolant. Break and Transfer Case)Original Blue and Yellow California Plates. Current Registration and Smog Certificate. Did cut out a small piece of Rust under the Roll bar mount. A temporary fix to remove any other oxidation by riveting a small sheet metal plate. Should be welded at some point. The Transmission and Clutch are in good working order. however a couple of notes in regards to this. Sometimes a little hesitation in downshifting from 3rd to 2nd gear. No scratching sound though. Might be second gear syncro. Other than that. shifting is accurate and easy. Jeep runs super cool and very smooth on the Freeway. Has newer shocks and previous owner installed a 1 inch lift.
