BAD NEWS:
It is fine in short trips around town but on long drives or on the highway at high rpms it will stall out. So no outrunning an escaped T-Rex at the moment.Multiple mechanics believe some wiring harnesses need to be replaced . I do not know which one/ones as we never exactly narrowed down where the short is, ave been building this Jeep for 6 months and simply cannot put any more work into it.
other than that pretty much the whole engine is new parts, t has a very clean record, andles well, ll of the gearing works properly as well.
With a little mechanical love this Jeep would make a great project car for someone who has an alternate vehicle. and would be very unique off road vehicle. People love it and always want to take pictures of it, o much fun to drive around town in. And if up for it join the Jurassic Park Motor Pool and join us at our many outings around the country.
INTERIOR: Interior is in very fair condition, here are NO RIPS, he drivers seat has 2 very small stains and all seats have some fading, his jeep was topless for quite a while in the california sun.
(what appears to be wrinkling on the backseat in the photo is just the reflection shadow from the soft top windows)The carpet kit is Black and new but it not glued down. The speaker bar has 6" speakers and 2 multi-directional lights and is upholstered in spice fabric to match the soft top, he roll bar pads are the original black and are a little faded.There is a textured beige matte paint over the entire tub of the jeep and on the inside of the windshield.The half doors are from 2 different jeeps and if you want to lock them I would recommend buying a new set of door cylinders (standard sells them with keys on amazon for around $20) Both doors have Spice interior door panels.
EXTERIOR: it is painted in the Jurassic Park Style in monstaliner, smoother type of bedliner that is lightly textured but has no rubber particles in it which gives it the softer look with a slight gloss finish, hich if you don't like the color scheme it can always be painted over in one of their other 39 colors they offer on monstaliner.com, t is a do it yourself roll on bedliner ki, o rubber and is 100% UV permanent, t is a ceramic based bedliner and is extremely hard to scratch or knick in any way, nd is perfect for anything life can throw at a jeep and you not have to worry about ruining a custom paint job. it really is great!I took great effort to have all of the decals custom made to exact movie sizing, this color is not screen accurate of course) Once I had the decal designs correct I ordered them in their colors, aited for them to arrive and then matched the monstaliner and wheel paint to the decal colors for an exact match (a lot of people think they are painted on the colors are so spot on)There are also additional holes drilled in the center of the rear bumper if you wanted to order a jurassic park plate from celebritymachines.com and put it there.
This jeep does appraise for around $10,200 (without the custom paint and larger tires) and we are understanding of the fixes it still needs which is why we are auctioning the vehicle at a lower price.
