2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon & Matching Trailer

I purchased this Jeep in the fall of 2006. From day one my intent was to do a Hemi engine Conversion. All of the Jeeps I found at that time were $30,000 or more. So knowing whatever I found, hat the engine would be coming out, began looking for something in disrepair. I came across this jeep that was for sale on the east coast. It had a hole in #5 Cylinder block. It arrived in Idaho in November 2006 and began a frame off modification. It carries a reconstructed title. It arrived with 43,000 miles on it and now has approximately 75,000. It has been all over the western United States both on road and off road and has not had a single issue, ot one. All of the upgrades and modifications have been performed by a master mechanic who works where I work. As you read thru the upgrades you will see that very little on this jeep is stock with upgrades being made front to back, ottom to top. We have driven this jeep all over the Pacific Northwest with not one issue. Although it was built for the off-road, t mostly saw forest service roads with little or no rock crawling. It has always been garaged and it was designed to enjoy weekend trips with the grandkids.

Trailer is a Custom made "one off" built in 2009.

1. Powertrain

· 5.7 Chrysler Hemi from same year installed @ 43,000 miles. Engine had 4,500 miles @ install.

· Engine was a professional install.

· 5 Speed Automatic w overdrive that the 5.7 was born with. Lokar shifter.

2. Drive Train

· 6” Fabtech Long Arm Suspension. Professionally installed and welded in place using an alignment rack at a local Tire Shop. Shocks were replaced in 2015.

· Dana 44 axles with 5:56 gears and custom G2 differential covers. Factory Air Lockers customized to operate independently.

· EBC Slotted Brake Rotors w/ high performance pads.

· Factory 4:1 transfer case w/ Tera Flex Straight line shifter

· 35X12.5 R15 (85%) Maxis Tires on Mickey Thompson simulated bead locks. Several extra sets of bead rings.

· HD Tie Rod and Steering stabilizer

· Skyjacker Rock Lock sway bar disconnect

· Viair compressor mounted in engine compartment, 00% duty, odel 450C

6. Summary

You will not find a more dependable fun to drive jeep anywhere. This jeep will do 70 miles an hour all day long and with no wobble at all. We have owned this Jeep since November 2006 and it has been a work in progress over the years and now it is time to retire and go another direction in life. That is the only reason we are selling this package. I have kept a large 3 ring binder full of receipts and documentation of the build and upgrades over the years along with over 300 photos taken throughout the project.
