1980 Jeep CJ 5

1980 Jeep CJ 5 up for sale. Many modifications have already been done. The engine has been updated to a 258 straight 6 with brand new Howell fuel injection(CA smog legal) and HEI distributor. New black finned Jeep valve cover and matching Edelbrock air cleaner. Transmission is a manual 5 speed mated to a Dana 300 transfer case. The Jeep has been lifted by moving the leaf springs above the axles. Custom front shock towers for long travel shocks have been added. The rear shocks come up through the tub and mount to the custom roll cage. 5 point harnesses for the front seats attach to the roll cage. New BF Goodrich 35 12.5 r15 mud terrain tires have less than 500 miles on them. I will include a hardtop and hard doors with the auction. The front and rear axle appear to be stock, owever I do think the gearing has been changed and custom drivelines have been built. There is a switched electric fan and off road lights. All lights work and the jeep runs good. Jeep is currently registered and will come with a clear CA title. The sandrail is not included.
