Selling a 1999 Wrangler TJ with a swapped in 4.0L from a 2000 TJ. If you want a rock crawling jeep that's already "made" then shoot me a text. All I can say is no or we can work something out.
Update: it is being driven normally so miles are still being added.
I am the second owner. The previous owner was an avid jeeper and did most of the work. As for me, 've owned the jeep less than a year and honestly never used it to its full potential.
-4.0L w/95k miles
-5spd manual
-Rebuilt transmission a couple thousand miles ago (have receipts)
-LUK clutch also installed (have receipts)
-NP231 transfer case
-SYE installed
-Spicer CV rear driveshaft (recently lubed)
-Ford 8.8 Rear Axle geared to 4.88
-OX locker in the rear
-Front Axle geared to 4.88 as well
-Extended brake lines
-Disc brakes all around
-Belly up kit
-Long Arm lift kit
-4" suspension lift
-2" body lift
-Bilstein shocks all around
-Aftermarket front and rear bumpers
-Tuff Stuff winch
-24" light bar
-50" light bar
-35 12.50 General Grabbers with a lot of tread left
-Aftermarket stereo
-CB (not hooked up)
-Aftermarket radiator w/flexalite electric fan
-Warn rock sliders
-Flowmaster muffler installed
Also come with HiLift jack
The 4.0L does have A/C but is not hooked up. The compressor is still installed but a brand new serpentine belt for non A/C is installed and the port holes are covered. Oil was changed less than 100 miles ago with mobile 1 full synthetic+ filter. Transfer case and axle fluids were changed about 400 miles ago.
The jeep was taken to a BAR examiner who examined the engine and smog equipment and passed flawlessly. They also smogged the jeep on 1/21/16 and passed.
If I am forgetting anything I'm sure it will come to me eventually. Any questions just ask.I have the right to end this early as I am selling this locally.
