***New Luk clutch kit + less than 1,000 miles on brand-new Firestone Winterforce Snow Tires
This one is for the Jeep-head and deserves a very special home:
1991 XJ, -Door, -Speed, x4, ower Windows/Locks, UX/USB/FM stereo, .0L, Cyl, ust over 283k miles. I have driven this Jeep around 5,000 miles a year since 2011 as a daily commuter within Boulder County, olorado. This is the fourth white pre-94 XJ I have owned since age 16 and she has been true to form. New fatherly duties and a graduate degree made a more family-friendly vehicle the practical choice, o I am letting go of this most-prized possession. Well maintained, espectfully cared-for and drives great. Regular oil changes (last in November) and vigilant maintenance have keep this vehicle running strong. Did not pass Boulder County emissions requirement for 2016; my mechanic diagnosed a dirty fuel injector and prescribed a can of BG-44 to clean things out. Other than this and replacing the radiator in the near future, here are no major mechanical issues to note. Does not leak oil in a major way, ower steering and master cylinders also do not leak. Between the clutch and snow tires, have spent almost $1500 on this vehicle in recent months. I am truly sad to let her go, ut life goes on.... Here is a brief history of parts I have had put in since late 2011:
2015 (October): Luk clutch kit, ydraulic line and master cylinder, now tires, iper blades for winter2014: battery, indshield, iftgate struts2013: track bar, tabilizer bar, lignment2012: breaks2011: shocks (4), ead gasket, way links, 2 sensor, ower steering pump/reservoir, tc.
Original owners manual included, ulbs, uses and new Bosch spark-plugs I have not had the time to put in. This is the rare model with keyless entry - I do not have a remote, ut they are available on eBay occasionally. Cosmetically, he is more-than-presentable for a 1991, obacco-free interior in good condition. Here is an honest breakdown of her quirks:
- hazard lights knob missing- hood release handle missing (I keep a wrench next to the seat and this works just fine)- missing Jeep ornament on hutch- center console hinge repaired with duct tape- right rear vent window replaced, oes not open- release latch on driver seat broken- key does not work in lock on passenger door- washer fluid pump is temperamental, eeds replaced- 4-wheel low does not engage (4-wheel high works fine)- rear wiper not functioning- some fiberglass missing at hood seam- other minor cosmetic issues
