Hello everyone, have my 1998 Jeep Cherokee for sale. The Jeep is nearly 20 years old and it does sport the original paint, o it does have the normal scratches and scuffs that you would expect from a vehicle this age, have owned this vehicle since 2007 and it's never left me stranded once. The Jeep runs great, t's solid, trong 4.0 Inline 6 motor and tough transmission, also average around 19 miles per gallon with town and highway traveling. In the last 3 years this is what's been replaced:
Water pumpAlternatorRadiatorPower steering pumpAc compressorAc condenserAc accumulatorOrfice tube and return lineFront brakes and rotorsUpper and lower ball jointsShocks all around about 5 years agoRear leaf springsFront coil springsElectric radiator cooling fanNew windshield through SafeliteHeadlight switchHeadlight assembliesWindshield washer pumpFront wheel bearingsSway bar linksTie rod ends
The battery is 2 years old as well.
All chassis parts are Trw or Moog brand.
Now, he drivers side power window has a brand new motor in it but for some reason stopped rolling down, t may be the switch I just haven't had time to mess with it. The passenger side rolls up and down though.
The ac is ice cold but will need recharged come summer time, nbsp;Hot heat in the winter, 've never had a problem with the engine over heating either.
The Jeep has 192,xxx miles on it. It's been a great vehicle for me since 2007, just don't drive it as much since I have bought another primary vehicle. It is a 2 door which is more rare and hard to find, he windows are tinted all around as well. The interior is in good shape except the passenger seat is wobbly and will need to be replaced. I never have taken the time to fix it since I'm usually riding solo anyway. The power locks don't work either but you can still lock it with a key. I'm not sure what could cause this maybe the switch or a bad wire somewhere. It has an antitheft keyless entry system on it as well made by VIPER. The Jeep rides and drives very well, ood power with the 4.0 inline 6 motor, he transmission shifts smooth and as it should. The transmission is bullet proof in these Jeeps. I would trust this Jeep to take me to California an back right now as it sits. It has an aftermarket Pioneer stereo in it as well. I also just installed 2 new Hankook Optimo tires on the front and the rear has snow/mud tires on it and don't need to be replaced yet. The headlights are aftermarket HID/Xenon that are very bright and the taillights are Altezza with LED brake light bulbs. The hatch to the cargo area will need new struts as well.
I hate to sell it and not hurting to sell it so please no low ball offers but no reasonable offer will be refused. Please feel free to send me a text or email, hat's the easiest way to get in touch with me. I will be prompt, onest to answer any questions or to schedule a test drive.
If I have left anything out feel free to contact me.
Also, e have had a harsh winter here in the mountains of Virginia, o the Jeep has been driven in the snow quite a bit, t's never skipped a beat even in over a foot of snow. Therefore it is dirty, ut it will be cleaned and detailed top to bottom before the buyer takes possession of it. Also as a side note, here is a little rust spot the size of a quarter on the hood on the drivers side, ther than that, ery minimal rust on this ride. There is absolutely zero rust on the frame, ero.
Have a wonderful day folks.
