1958 willys jeep forward control (fc) 170 with chevy 350 engine and trans

up for auction is my rare willys jeep fc 170. This is a cabover jeep pickup made for only a few years. The truck starts runs and drives well but will overheat after a few minutes and the brakes need attention. You will need to tow or trailer it away. A chevy 350 engine and automatic trans have been installed. The front driveshaft has not been fitted. The vehicle needs work. The body is solid with minimal rust for the year. It has been a California car all its life. It is a very charismatic vehicle that gets smiles and waves wherever it goes.

I do not want to misrepresent this vehicle. It is not road ready. It needs work on the cooling system and brakes to make it drivable. It should really have a complete restoration. The four wheel drive system is not hooked up. There is rust on the cab corners and above the windshield. The windshield has a crack. It needs new paint. It will be a great vehicle when finished but it is 57 years old and will need work to get it there.
