2011 Jeep Rubicon. Salvage Title. Buy it. drive it home. I bought it in the late fall of 2014 for a project. just to give me something to do after I relocated to a new town. I purchased from a salvage yard on the east coast. It had sheet metal and damage to most of the plastic. The guy I bought it from could not tell me much about what happened. other than what damage he could see. No frame damage. none. The airbags were not deployed. The main damage was on the right side and the top side. When I received it. it would not start and no electrical functions would operate. I found wire damage on the top of the cage going to the sound/light bar. I fixed that. put in a new battery and that part was fixed. Then I changed the oil. Next. nbsp;I replaced the front windshield frame. straightened the roll cage (which needs a little more adjustment) and took it to a local alignment shop to get checked over. They found no frame damage either. but did find the center link arm was tweaked and needed replaced to align the steering wheel. This still needs replaced. steering wheel sits at 3 o'clock with wheels in the straight position. The guy did say the wheels are real close to being true. I think this part was around $250. if he had one on hand I would have replaced then. Next back to my new rental house with a very small garage to start replacing parts. Pretty much everything I bought was new OEM or slightly used in near new shape. I replaced Both bumpers. 3 of the 4 fender flares (outer and inner) I was surprised on much money that some of these clips were. New hood off of a 2015. has 2 windshield washer nozzle's vs. one in the center that came off of the 2011 hood ( still need a short piece hose and a T to hook up the right nozzle). New shocks were put on. Jeep came with the factory hard doors. electric windows. locks. mirrors worked on both. The left door is in perfect condition. the right needed replaced. I could not find a right door. so I purchased a set of best top soft doors and installed a best top twill top (buyer can buy the hard doors separately). The twill top I'm impressed with. it's a good top. I replaced small trim parts in the interior. I put insurance on it and added around 1700 miles to the odometer. I found no surprises. It runs and drives like it should. 4wd locks in right away. as it should. Both Axle locks engage. as they should. The traction control light comes on after 20mph. Engine and transmission act like they should. I found nothing that does not work. The electric start works. sat. radio. lights. cruise. 110v outlet. etc. Have your funds ready. I would like $300 deposit (non refundable) paypal or bank check after 48 hours auction end. then paid in full 10 days after auction ends. Check out my feedback. I will do my part. I will help where I can w/ shipping. but buyer is responsible for that. Call/text (712)221-9946 w/ any questions. Again. Buy it and Drive it home. THANKS. Allan
