1996 Jeep Cherokee XJ Factory Right Hand Export Model with the 4.0 High Output Engine and 4 Speed transmission. Chassis has actual original 128,500 kilometers which converts to 79K miles only. It has a new complete overhauled engine with only approximately 500 miles of use since rebuild. New pistons and rings, ew crankshaft and connecting rod bearings, ew timing chain, ew engine gasket kit. New cooling system replaced too such as radiator, ater pump, hermostat and housing, pper and lower radiator hoses. New brakes front and rear. New battery with another 4 years on warranty. New Catalytic converter just installed as the original unit was beginning to rattle which is common for these vehicles due to age. New power steering pump replaced as the original unit was starting to leak. There is much more that I have done to this car that I could remember. This is a highly optioned vehicle with driver side airbag, BS braking system, ower door locks with key less remote entry FOB, ower windows, ower mirrors, anity mirrors with adjustable lights. Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears and the 4WD works as it should. Cold air conditioning and warm heating as needed. AM/FM radio with CD player, ower antenna. Factory alloy wheels. This vehicle conforms to U.S. EPA regulations for states that require smog testing. The only flaw of the car is the clear coat peeling due to age. Has minor scratches and dents from normal use but has never been in any accident as far as I know.
I have acquired this vehicle from a Co-Worker at the Post Office in Feb. 2015 in a non running condition due to a history of overheating caused by a clogged radiator. He had no interest in getting it fixed as we no longer use them for work as we are provided with LLV's for all our routes at the station. This vehicle was only used in service for approximately 5 years in a 28 mile paved route from 2007-2012 and was never taken off road and was only used as a daily driver from home to work and vise versa till November of 2014 when he had experienced the overheating.
