2000 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 4Door 4.0L. I purchased this jeep in 2011 for my daughter and now she wants a car that is more "luxury" with better mpg.
This Jeep Cherokee is in great shape for it's age. It has 208,000 miles (changes since driven daily) but only 48,000 miles on it's engine. When I purchased it in 2011 I decided to have Pilot Engines completely rebuild the engine. At that time it also received new hoses, elts, nd water pump. This engine runs great and uses no oil. Great driver since I spent the $$ intending to keep it for many years. I debated the rebuild but my daughter wanted a Jeep and this one was the best condition I could find. It does look great even though it has a dents.
I have attached pictures of the engine rebuild receipt along with all maintenance done since that time. As a highlight it has recent new brakes and front rotors and shocks. The tires are maybe 75% of tread left. The heater core and hoses was replaced last year. AC compressor and condensor are also less than 5 yrs old (still not freezing cold -- it cools but puts out air around 60F on a 95F day). I have driven this Jeep many days and it drives great. Steering is firm with no shake or issues. My daughter goes to college 360 miles from home and I have no hesitation of her driving this jeep that distance day or night.
See the many pictures I posted. I want to be clear that this is a 16 yr old Jeep -- it looks great for that age but is not new. The Jeep looks great but does have a couple of dents. I tried to take pictures but it really is hard to see in the shiny original paint. The front drivers seat has a tear in the side vinyl but we have stitched best we could -- any upholster can fix fairly easy if it bothers you. The driver side passenger rear door does not lock and unlock by itself -- you need to do with your hand since the lever feels tight. The headliner above the front passenger handle and near the rear upper speaker is loose - not hanging low but just loose. I;m sure there a few other things I'm missing but that's what I can think of. Mostly minor.
This is a nonsmoker vehicle. It also has no visible body rust since it is a North Carolina vehicle. It also looks good underneath. I park it on my concrete garage and do not see any drips or leaks.
If there are questions message me through ebay. Jeep is in King, C -- 27021.
See my feedback -- I list honest and accurate.
