Grand Wagoneer by Classic Gentleman, nternationally recognized as a leading buyer and seller of low mile, xcellent condition Wagoneers, resents this 1986 one family treasure.

Starting with the brand new purchase from the dealership showroom way back in 1986 and culminating with our purchase in 2016, his 76,650 Original Mile Grand was owned by just 1 family, assing from Grandfather to Grandmother and then Grandson. For all those 30 years, tarting as Grandpa's "grandiloquence" and following his passing, randma and Grandson then kept it as a family heirloom in remembrance of him. This Wagoneer never left Washington State until shipment to our dealership and as such, he has never seen a lick of winter road salt.

We have never had a Dark Honey Metallic before as few in that flavor were produced bu, s you can see, he is striking. That paint was recently refinished ahead of our purchase and remains in very good condition indeed. Same goes for the wood siding that was affixed at the time of repainting. The bordering thin wood trim is original and still looks great with just a couple small wavy spots on the lower passenger door trim. It's too minor to show up in the images and most would look right past it but we aim to be conservative in our written descriptions. The original wheels and bumpers likewise, hile not new, eflect the low (2,500 miles per year on average) salt free road usage with just normal ageing.

The honey leather interior is, eedless to say, perfect marriage for the Dark Honey Metallic exterior. The cabin is in overall very good to excellent condition with just slightest wear and aging evident. Even that original brown vintage shag carpet looks amazing and it's hard to believe but she still has the original floor mats. The comfort options are many by the standard of the '80s and you will find all these in working order...Power seats, power windows, ower door locks, ower mirrors, ir conditioning and a newly fitted AM/FM/CD player. Just the cruise control, which was rubbish when new anyway) and the volt meter on the dash are not operating.

The 360ci V8 engine, ransmission and 4 wheel high (for highway use) setting are all performing as they should. We have not serviced the 4 wheel low as that feature tends to freeze up over time, ue to non use, nd most of our customers would never use the trail/ mud bogging setting. We also don't spend monies on the appearance of engine bays and undercarriages as most of our buyers plan on driving and enjoying these grands regularly. Normal wear, ging and surface rust will be present there but all will pass stringent New York State inspection guidelines. We have 5 pages of heavily detailed mechanical and electrical service invoices for works we had sorted here, otaling approximately. $5,000.00. Carfax confirms the miles are actual with no accidents but Autocheck does show an incident from 25 years ago. Grandpa, acking out of a parking spot, aught the opening door of the car beside him, ith his bumper. No damage to the Grand, ccording to the Grandson and didn't even make it on the Carfax report.

Keep in mind of course these are 30 +/- year old machines with technology that even back when they were made was considered somewhat dated. If you end up owning one of these, xpect to pump the gas pedal to start the carburetor fitted motor and possibly have a fluid drip here or there. There will be a higher level of maintenance or, s I like to refer to it, romancing” than your modern car. That is just a truth, ellow enthusiast. Still, fter our careful sorting, urning a wrench on one of these normally runs a lot less, rice wise, han many contemporary automobiles on the road today. And yes, heir power options, ver time, ight exhibit a poltergeist now and then…… but their minimal faults are just a part of them. They are supremely comfortable and offer a classic style and charm that exists only with them.
