Description

1966 JEEP WAGONEERAMC 327 ENGINE - STARTS AND RUNSAUTOMATIC TRANS W/ DANA 20 TRANSFER CASEFACTORY A/CGOLD EXTERIOR W/ GREEN INTERIORVIN# 1414C 100633 THE GOOD - This ride appears to be a one owner Jeep or at worst possibly two owners. It seems to have been mostly garage kept based on the overall condition. It is complete minus one fender badge and the correct factory hubcaps. There is no noticeable major rust except for behind the rear wheel wells. The interior appears to be complete less the factory carpet. Motor cranks very well and runs but does need a tune. Transmission shifts and Jeep goes forward and backward but this has not been road tested. Brakes work and all other mechanical appear to work. I have not tested the 4wd but the transfer case shifts as it should. All glass is in tact. There does not appear to be any significant body damage. All the doors open and shut as they should. nbsp;hood latches and there do not appear to be any signs of a collision. The grill and other Jeep specific hard to find parts appear to be in excellent condition just needing a refurbishing. THE BAD - It does have rust in the typical Wagoneer spot behind both rear wheel wells. The motor does not appear to need a rebuild but could use a carb rebuild and regular tune up. Tires hold air but I have no clue how old they are and wouldn't consider them to be road trip worthy. I have not tested the A/C and Heat to know of the working condition but all of the factory parts appear to be in tact. I have not tested the rear glass but it is in great shape. There are no known mechanical leaks but the gas filler tube does leak right before the tank. The passenger front glass appears to be disconnected from the regulator and does not roll up or down. This has had a new paint job at one time and that is what is peeling in the photos. There are a couple of areas that have minor body damage (mainly the front fenders) as seen in pics along with a small area on the hood. I can not vogue 100% for this Jeep as I have not done an entire nut and bolt inspection but I have gone over the major areas and have found it to be in tact and worthy of rebuilding. THE STORY - I found this at auction on west coast. It appears to be a Washington state or Oregon resident. I bought it to keep it from going to a salvage yard and being scrapped. These original versions are getting scarce and should not be cut up and used for weight value. I had it transported to OKC and am listing it for sale to a buyer that is interested in using it for its true potential. I am a huge fan of the FSJ and saving this one just seemed like the right thing to do. I do have a clear title for this and can provide a bill of sale as well. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LOOK AT ALL THE PICS AND ASK QUESTIONS IF THERE ARE ANYPlease feel free to ask any questions. Will work with shipping company if buyer arranges shipping but local pick up is always welcome. I am not perfect and would never claim to be but I have noted everything that I know to date about this special ride. A minimum deposit of $500 is due immediately upon clicking buy it now or acceptance of an offer. Would prefer for Jeep to be picked up within one week of acceptance but will always work with a good communicator
