You are bidding to purchase a 1997 Jeep Wrangler SE sport utility vehicle that has been driven on average less than 6,500 miles per year far less than 15,000 the industry average.These miles are confirmed thru Auto Check,the prior owner and without question the exceptional condition of the vehicle.This is the normal mileage for very pricey 2009 and 2008 models but rarely found on a 1997.

This good looking guy comes to us from a highly respected franchised dealer in our area that does no resell any vehicles four or more years old.We find this guy clean from front to rear and top to bottom with very limited cosmetic imperfections.We see no corrosion on the doors (very minor paint bubble on the drivers doorlower right corner-see pics),fenders,panels or undercarriage.Auto Check reports damage in 2008 (apparently a fender bender) as we see no signs of any metal repair.All lenses,trim and moldings are clean and straight.The finish which appears to be original still has that ''new car'' luster.The two front tires appear to be new and the rear have more than ample tread.The full size spare and all jacking hardware are present and stowed properly.The original alloys show no curb or road rash.The windshield is clean and clear showing no stone bruises,cracks or wiper mar.

The interior is neat and tidy showing no signs of neglect or abuse what so ever.The drivers seat had some minor separation of the vinyl side inserts hence the covers that seem to be new.The rear seat looks to have been hardly ever used.The dash shows no degradation,the easily removable hardtop shows no signs of any water leakage with a good seal and no wind noise.It appears that this guy has never been smoked in or used to carry pets-no odors.Refeshing.

Mechanically there are no worries here.The well proven 2.5L four cylinder engine (avg. mpg is 19) fires to life with the click of the key coming to idle at specs.we see no oil leaks or smoke around the block or from the exhaust.On the drive the acceleration is strong,the front end is tight and pleasing with the track being true and straight.The air conditioner works quietly producing excellent cooling.The 5 speed manual transmission shifts easily thru the gears and the clutch feel fine.The 4x4 transfer case engages firmly with no unusual sounds.We see no issues with the heat defrost,sound system or safety features.It is clear to us this handsome guy has been very well looked after and if the next fortunate owners continue this care they can look forward to many years and many miles of trouble free service.
