1988 Jeep Wrangler S Sport Utility 2-Door 4.2L

1988 Jeep YJ - 4.2 AMC V6 - 5 Speed - 113,280 miles (might change slightly as I still drive it)
owned roughly 4.5 years, all receipts since purchase at 98,000 miles. I am not sure if its a "sport" model but I had to pick a 6 cyl model for ebay purposes.
jeep runs and is a daily driver. I have put about 15,000 miles on it in 4 years.

- swapped crappy original Peugeot trans for *NEW* NV3550 5 speed transmission 10,000 miles ago ($2500)
- new front brakes pads and rotors 13,000 miles ago
- new axle U (front and rear) joints 13,000 miles ago
- 2.5 inch old man emu lift (from previous owner)
- new shocks 12,000 miles ago
- new motor mounts, tranny mounts 12,000 miles ago
- spark plugs have 12,000 miles
- new clutch throwout bearing and fuel filter 10,000 miles ago
- new radiator 6,000 miles ago
- new rotor, cap, and control module 5,000 miles ago
- new battery 1-year ago
- quadratec LED rear tail lights ($150)
- Borla stainless steel header + exhaust ($600+)
- ARB offroad front bumper ($700+)
- 5 red letter General grabber tires 31x10.5r15 - ($930) - 4 years old with 10,000 miles
- Bushwacker flat fender flares ($500)
- BesTop thermal heated seats (in average shape - not sure if they still heat up)
- upper half door tops with hard plastic sliding windows
- painted Chevrolet victory red
- GM steering shaft
- GM self-dimming rear view mirror- all gauges work- roll cage pads and sound bar
- windshield and windshield frame are good as far as i know
CONS
- Bad frame rust - specifically behind the rear shackles both side
- Cab rust (floor pans/rockers worst) but bubbles in other spots
- motor pushes oil past the rings or from somewhere else
- 4x4 works fine but could use a once over on the linkage
- Interior is average (more wear on driver side, all seats have spots from top being down)
- soft top is aged, has zipper attachment separated from top at the stitching on one zip up window and on rear attachment- soft top frame works but is definitely worn. one side is missing its pin- antenna line to head unit needs replaced or repaired - radio currently does not get signal- not all lights work on gauges
Selling it for the cost of the bumper and transmission alone. I just unfortunately don't have the skill set to fix it up.
I have tried to be as honest as possible. Please ask questions. Jeep is sold as-is and as-shown- NO RETURNS.
