1998 JEEP WRANGLER Sport Low mileage 4WD, 5 Speed Manual by Original Owner

Up for auction is my RED 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport with very low mileage (48K) that I owned since new. I am an avid car enthusiast and collector. and I am very particular about my vehicles; and it shows in this extremely clean Jeep. I special ordered this vehicle with the following optional equipment. in addition to the standard equipment that was offered: Cloth seats;30” tires & styled aluminum wheel group with full size matching spare;Full length floor center console;In-line straight six (6) cylinder engine with 5 speed overdrive manual transmission;19 gallon fuel tank;Interior courtesy and under hood lamps;Tilt steering column;Variable speed intermittent windshield wipers;Cruise control;Leather wrapped steering wheel;High pressure gas charged shock absorbers;Four wheel drive (4WD);Four wheel anti-lock brakes (also has front airbags);Trac-lock differential;Full metal doors with roll up windows;Air conditioning;Heavy duty electrical group;Lockable add-a-trunk (makes trunk inaccessible from the interior);Fog lights;Power steering and brakes;Bodyside steps; Trailer tow package; andAM/FM stereo with CD. cassette player. and overhead sound bar. The original soft top is nice and tight and is in very good condition. The plastic windows in the soft top are also nice and clear. as can be seen in the pictures. with minimal scratching/scrubbing of the back window. I am a non-smoker and this vehicle has never been smoked in. It has also never been in an accident! The Jeep has always been well maintained with regular oil changes. etc. . and all the fluids (transmission. brake. & antifreeze) have been changed a few times. including a change of all fluids about a year ago. The engine starts right up and runs strong. It does not burn. leak. or drip any oil. Additionally. no other fluids leak or drip from the vehicle. This Jeep has always been used as a second vehicle and has never been used on a regular basis. which explains the very low mileage. I am a self-employed professional. working at home. and most of the time this vehicle has sat in a climate controlled garage. not out in a parking lot. It has occasionally been out in the snow; however. not on a regular basis. If it was foul weather outside and I didn’t have to go out. I would simply stay at home in the office. Additionally. this Jeep has never been off roading!!!! It also spent approximately half of its life in Virginia. which helps a great deal in relation to the exceptional condition of the vehicle. It has gotten some minor surface rust over the years. such as on door hinges and from stone chips. that has been cleaned up and touched up as soon as it has appeared. The finish on the wheels has also experience some minor corrosion that has been cleaned up on a regular basis to keep it from spreading. The brakes. tires. exhaust system. battery. etc. . are all in very good condition and the interior appears almost new. Everything on this vehicle is in very good working order!
