Description

1988 Wrangler - Limited production "Olympic Edition". These Jeeps were badged by the factory. and 500 were given to the US Olympic atheletes to use for a period of time before the 88 Olympics. This is a very nice Jeep - Clean car fax. 6 cyl - 5 speed. New alternator. brake booster. belts. hoses. brake shoes. carb. tune up. oil change. etc. Great original paint. inside and out. 151. 00 miles on straight 6 - does not use oil. but leaks just a little (pan gasket I believe). Interior carpet and floor mats original. Nice under coating that has kept rust away. Solid floors front and back. his is not a rust bucket - I am not aware of any rust other than some very minor surface rust below the drivers floor mat where a drain plug was missing allowing water to spray up into floor. Easy fix and I have included a picture. This is a reliable daily driver. Hardtop is factory and never been off - Factory sunroof had small leak so i used silicone to seal. Does not leak any longer but you may want to buy new weather stripping for long term fix. Tires are (5) new Goodyear Wrangler with 90% tread. Fuel gauge is a little erratic also. Gets 20 mpg +No AC. bat easy add on. Original jack under hood. new 36 month battery (needs hold down clamp) Clean title in hand. No reserve. Bid to win. Yes there are lots of 90's Jeeps out there for less. but look at the condition. and remember a set of "full steel doors" and a OEM hardtop is about a $1500 purchase used. then you paint them to match. Get the whole pkg and not screw around with pieces and parts.
