2006 KIA AMANTI NO RESERVE 2006 KIA AMANTI VIN: KNALD124765090831 SELLING AS-IS with disclosure may need 3. 5l motor due to engine head gasket failure! Engine starts. runs smooth and lot drives. This solid 2006 Amanti was towed to our shop. A local dealer took it in on trade only to find the radiator low on coolant. They towed it to us to diagnose and it was determined the coolant loss was due to a failed head gasket. As with any head gasket. diagnosis of the cause can be easily determined while the internal engine condition cannot be inspected. With that the engine condition cannot be fully assessed. On a a GOOD NOTE: the head gasket leak is external (left bank) and we found no coolant in the engine oil. We can state the engine starts. runs quiet and smooth and there is a good chance that a head gasket replacement (one or both) may be all this engine needs. We do not service KIA engines and our customer did not want to invest in the cost of a used engine swap. We purchased the vehicle for resale AS-IS. You see it as we received it more than a month ago. This is a KIA mechanic’s special or someone who knows how to work on them. If you know how to fix KIA’s this is the car for you. Miles are actual (146033) and title will be transferred to you as actual. not exempt. Cosmetically as-is I would rate the KIA a 7. a good cleaning. repair to some minor body damage on the right front and right rear quarter. add a good detailing could raise it to a 9+. The body is solid with two areas of rust as seen in the photos (right rear quarter panel and blister on hood). There are a number of light scratches. I believe most would rub-out. The interior is in good condition. The windshield is cracked. scratched and needs to be replaced. The vehicle does start and lot drive. The transmission does shift smooth through all gears and seems to be fine. This vehicle CAN be driven onto a transport carrier.
