2007 BMW X5 4.8i on WARRANTY

The car has new tires that are about 16 months old. New oil change done last week that will last for the next 12k miles. New breaks all around. All major work has been done by BMW dealership. The car drives and feels like new. Left passenger side door has minor cosmetic damage scrape as seen in pictures. Very nice looking vehicle interior/exterior.
The thing with buying a used X5 is that they have two common problems around this mileage. One is that the valve seals get worn out and the car starts smoking from the tail pipe. To repair this BMW has to take the whole engine apart and it is a $10K job. Another common problem is an oil leak near the timing chain cover. This is another few thousand. On my car all this work has been performed under warranty about a year ago and the warranty paid around $16000 for the repairs. Now this vehicle will drive another 100k miles without those issues. For any other issues you get a two year bumper to bumper extended warranty. With this car you get the peace of mind for years to come.
Great find. Since the ar has been on warranty all its life, t was taken right to the dealer as soon as I noticed a problem.
