Up for sale is my complete numbers matching, ocumented, 4,500 original mile1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. I have documented ownership history, actually a three ring binder) OEM sales literature, wner's manual, arranty (i.e. Protect O Plate) KodakPhotos of this car from years ago, xtra keys, arts and Repairs Receipts, and Z28 authenticity certificate from Jerry McNeish, ho is the authority on verifying these cars. This is a Norwood built car, nd so marked on the build tag. This is a survivor car that has been freshened up with an engine re-build 1000 miles ago in 2008. Re-built professionally to factory specifications. The correct heads received a Three angle valve job, nd the engine has been fully balanced, ine bored, nd cylinder honing. New seals in heads and all new engine gaskets of course. Ihave receipts describing materials, nd the exact engine work that was performed. Shop that did the work is very reputable, nd in business today. Concours correct Factory style Gardner exhaust with the OEM style Transverse muffler (expensive!). The correct carburetor has been re-built. The original "W" marked aluminum intake manifold is in place, nd theExhaust manifolds are original......and were NOT replaced with headers as so many others have been. Brand new AC / Delco Battery. Again, e-build occurred at 23.5k miles, o this engine only has 1000 miles on it since re-build. Needless to say, his 360HP LT1 Chevrolet small block 350 runs very strong. 4.11 gears in the 12 Bolt Rear end, nd the 1970 Z28 was the only small block Chevrolet Camaro to get a 12 bolt rear end. M22 Rock Crusher Transmission shifts perfectly, nd its' synchronisers were adjusted at time of engine re-build by the same shop. All I have done is lubricate the correct Hurst shifter. Clutch is perfect. Steering is nice and tight, ith no slop in the steering box. Original interior with no extra speakers etc. (i removed after market speakers and replaced the package tray with a Concours correct replacement). Correct AM radio. I have the original smog pump (see photo of it and the air pump rails in a box) and the original tail pipes, long with the original wood grain dash face and original spare good year bias ply tire and jack accessories. The under chassis has just been freshened up which before retained its original orange oxide primer. The shocks were replaced with new AC / Delco units. Original floor pans. Paint has been touched up on the edge of the floor pans, nd the door jams, he cowl (hence the paint on the Cowl tag that was scraped off) and a couple a few other places. Sheet metal is superb, nd NO rust anywhere, ncluding the trunk area. Car has the more rare, aller version of the rear spoiler for 1970. I have a photo (old Kodak snap shot!) of the car in the early 1970's with this in place. Correct 8k Tachometer, 50 MPH Speedometer, both optimistic! :)) Horn, eater, xterior lights, nterior lights, ipers and gauges work correctly. CLOCK is even running, ut I doubt it keeps the correct time! :) I would say the paint, verall, n a 1 to 10 scale, s about a 7. It is a 4 speed car with a 4:11 ratio rear end. I also added a brand new set of Goodyear Polyglas Tires, nd this car is ready to drive, r show. This car needs very little to be perfect. The car is amazing as it has always been stored under cover, nd spent years in a climate controlled facility. It retains its original color citrus green with black interior. This car is not perfect, nbsp;but it is closer than most! I know the correct AM radio, hich plays perfectly, s drawing to much current and will drain the battery over time. I need to replace one interior vent knob that is missing (it is on order). I am going to replace the driver's side door bushings (I have new pins and bushings). I noticed the driver's side door glass has an irregular top line, ut only by about 1/8". It is so slight, hat the car does not leak, nd is not noticeable until the door is open with the window rolled up. That is about it!! My preference for Muscle cars are those that could go around corners, nd not just in a straight line. This one is it! 360 HP LT1 + M22 Rock Crusher + 12 Bolt Rear End = the Apex of the Chevrolet Camaro F Body, nd this is, n my opinion, he best Small Block Engine Chevrolet ever built. No small block Camaro ever had more HP and Torque, nd GM dropped compression ratios in 1971. It was downhill after that for all Muscle Cars. This car can embarrass lots of Big Blocks, nd out handle all of them. I have a 1970 Boss 302 also, hich I will be selling also, nd I think this car is the best of the Trans Am series cars. For 1970, hevrolet borrowed heavily from Ferrari (yes, elieve it or not!) on the new F body Camaro's lines, articularly in the grill area. This car has a great look and stance to this day. NO rust, ver, atching numbers Fresh Engine and Transmission, nd superb documentation equal a GREAT car to own and enjoy! Questions, nd Inspections are both Encouraged and Welcomed. Car is located close to Love Field, n Dallas, X. Please call 214-507-9441 if you have genuine interest. No emails, lease. I find that people that have genuine interest, ill pick up the telephone.
