The 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera, nown as the 997.2 model, ppeared at first glance to be only slightly "updated" over the 997.1 variant of the previous model year. Dig a little deeper, owever, nd we see the changes to be considerably more extensive in several regards, aking the '09 and new version of this iconic sports car head and shoulders above the prior model years. 2009 was the introduction of Porsche's direct injection fuel delivery, umping power output to 345 hp and 287 lb/ft tq, substantial gain over the previous model year, nd a noticeably more enjoyable driving experience. Perhaps more important than the new engine, 009 saw the introduction of Porsche's now-renowned PDK transmission, ow the leading choice in transmission offerings on the 911. To round out the updates, orsche redesigned the front and rear lights and bumpers, s well as the interior "tech", ffering ventilated seats, much more user-friendly navigation system, nd more. With all of the updates and changes, ar and Driver claimed the 2009 Porsche could ultimately be referred to as the "998".
The Toy Barn is pleased to offer this 2009 911 Carrera Coupe, inished in Grey over beige leather, ith just under 40k miles. This particular Porsche is a new arrival for us, ust in time for Porsche season (isn't EVERY season Porsche season?). This 911 is absolutely beautiful, as a fantastic ensemble of options, as previously Certified when owned by the previous owner, nd we just performed it's annual service here at our store. This car looks and drives excellent, nd will make a VERY suitable addition to anyone's driveway.
What I like about this 911 is the combination of features, ptions, verall equipment, ondition, nd color combination. On the outside, ou'll notice quickly this Porsche was upgraded with factory 19" Carrera S wheels, s well as the new design led tail lamps and the revised front bumper and lights, ll of which look excellent and very clean (the front bumper also has a partial 3M clear bra protection wrap). Inside, his Carrera has the upgraded seats that are power operated, eated, ND ventilated. It also has the Sport Chrono Package Plus, s well as the PDK transmission. Along with those options is the Bose premium audio system combined with the modernized factory navigation system. The overall interior and exterior condition is excellent.
