1968 Karman Ghia. This is a nice littlecar that looks good and drives the same. The interior is very nice from the headliner down to the rugs---nothing worn or shabby.I bought this in 2009 for my wife and she may have driven it maybe 500 miles. I love driving it but I'm 6'1' and 250 pounds so it is not an easy fit for me. I have made improvements to the car since I have owned it. Yesterday I had a new stock carb put on it along with new rubber fuel linesand the electrical system checked---it charges at 13.8 volts. There is a brand new battery. 2 new front brake hoses. There were stress cracks in the pan around the stick shift and hand brakeand those were professionally repaired when the stick shift selector was rebuilt. it shifts as it should and you know what gear you are putting it into. Hand brake works as it should. Stock original seat belts. The horn and wipers work. The speedowas rebuilt. The 1584cc motor runs like a clock as does the transmission. The shop manual calls for Bias 5.60 X 15 tires but I have 165R 15s on it with wide white walls--they still have the rubber tire mold injection pips on them. This is a California black license plate car and I have the pink slip on it. The car is solid. Please keep in mind that the car is 48 years old. I don't know anything about the car prior to my buying it.Mileage states 61785- I kept the original mileage on the speedo when it was rebuilt.
