1996 Camaro RS Convertible
In very good condition with less than 122,000 miles. Well maintained and well equipped with working a/c, ruise, ower windows, ower door locks, ower seats, emote key less entry with alarm and AM/FM CD player. Beautiful dark metallic green factory paint with factory tan high quality canvas convertible top. Paint is in very condition for the age of the car. There are a few paint blemishes given the age of the car but none of which take away from beauty of the car. The worst is the front of the car road rash from daily driving. The rest of the paint on the car is in really good condition.
CONDITION: Straight body with no dents. Convertible top is in excellent condition as is the matching tan leather interior. Has the RS (Rally Sport) trim package with original factory ground effects and original Camaro mag wheels. Garage kept. Drives perfectly. No known body or mechanical issues. No cracks in the dash. No engine light on. Current inspection and license plates. Beautiful well kept tan leather interior with bucket seats. No cracks, ips, r cuts in the leather and although the driver's seat shows slight wear, he interior is in near excellent condition.
HISTORY:Recent history of the car: This has been a two-owner car that I bought in December 2015 from the 2nd owner who has had it for the past 10 years. He purchased the car at 58,000 miles and has garage kept it during that time. When I purchased the vehicle, t needed a fuel pump, ir conditioner compressor, ew hood-lift supports and the passenger window motor repaired. I had all those things repaired immediately at a cost of $1,442.00, ll work done by my excellent mechanic with warranties and whom I have been going to for years. I also had the old tint removed from the windows and installed new tint.
OTHER ITEMS: Vehicle has brand new fresh Michelin tires on it with less than 500 miles and a recent brake job. Also included is a parade cover - the piece that covers and hides the convertible top when the top is in the down position.
KNOWN ISSUES: The motor to the convertible top is not working however, he top can raised and lowered easily manually by hand. Other than that, o repairs are needed and the car is ready to go.
Hard to believe it is a 20 year old car. This car would make a great daily driver or a great buy as an investment as all Camaros seem to go up in value as they age in good condition.
The reserve price is very reasonable. Please do not bid on the car if you aren't willing or don't have the money to pay for it. My phone number is 832/236-5986if you have any questions. Thanks and good luck!
