EXTERIOR
One off 1970 Chevelle Big Pro Touring that took 2 years to complete. It started by taking the car down to metal, ixing the areas that required attention, urchasing new OEM fenders, runk, ood and Bumpers. Once the car was assembled as a shell, etal work was done to create beautiful gaps on every panel as you can see from the pictures. The doors, eadlight bezels, runk lid and rear valance all had metal fabrication done prior to paint. The exterior received 3 guide coats with blocking in between to assure the body was strait. PPG Cashmere Silver, raphite Grey, nd Valencia Orange are the colors that were used to execute my theme. 4 coats of PPG clear was applied prior to the final color sand and buff which was finished with 3000 grit sand paper. The front hood was shaved, ll the trim was color matched including the mirrors (which are being installed this week) along with color matched bumpers, ront grill, nd Boss 338 wheels. To finish everything off in style, ED Halo Headlights were added to modernize the front end appearance while provided twice the amount of light for those late night drives.
ENGINE
454 cubic inch big block that creates an estimated 450 horsepower! At the top of that sinister mill, big Quick Fuel 4-barrel mixes wind supplied by a Edelbrock air filter with fuel that's piped through polished stainless fluid lines. That air/fuel mixture floods an Edelbrock aluminum intake on the way to Custom Motor built by Nostalgia Hot Rods in Las Vegas. The engine features custom aluminum valve covers with matching air cleaner, et Coated Hedman Headers, n aftermarket HEI distributor sequences spark through loomed MSD plug wires. Edelbrock water pump between a polished alternator and modern AC compressor. In front of those ancillaries, polished Champion Cooling radiator circulates fluid around two electric puller fans. And items like chrome bolt on's, ne piece custom aluminum radiator support, olished power steering components and custom Ring Brothers aluminum hood hinges really makes the engine compartment clean and cohesive
DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION
Beneath this Chevy, clean undercarriage tells the story of roughly 300 test miles. Rock-solid floorpans are coated in durable undercoating, etting the perfect backdrop for a roster of high quality parts. Behind the impressive big block, proven Turbo 350 spins a 10.5 10-bolt rear end around mild 3.55 gears. That excellent drivetrain is framed by a pro touring suspension that's been upgraded with a beefy Hotchkis sway bars, ftermarket control arms, ure Muscle boxed trailing arms and modern BMR performance lowering springs. When the road starts to twist, ower-assisted steering maximizes the driver's input. Four power-assisted calipers squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors to provide good braking. Spent gases race from the aforementioned headers in to an H-shaped crossover and rowdy Flowmaster mufflers. Power flows to the pavement through black BOSS Motorsports wheels pinstriped in Valencia orange to match the beautiful stripes, hich turn 245/35ZR20 Lionhart LH-THREES in front of 275/30ZR20 Lionhart LH-THREES. And detail items include a Custom oil pan, tainless fluid lines and a stainless fuel tank.
INTERIOR
Sporting a custom leather interior, his Chevelle is both inviting and unique. Its plush 4 bucket seats with a one off custom center console is absolutely beautiful. Just the interior alone on this car cost over $14,000 and took 8 months to complete. In front of those seats, custom dash frames an assortment of Auto Meter gauges in a nicely appointed instrument panel. Below that dash, he custom, ull-length console anchors a traditional B&M chrome shifter between polished cup holders, ustom shifter bezel custom painted to match door inserts, phone compartment in addition to the rear armrest support. This car also features a Suede One Piece headliner that was insulated with sound deadening which keeps the road noise to a minimum in the cabin. Beneath that console, eluxe Mercedes carpet was used between bright courtesy lamps, ew foot pedals and custom, icker-equipped kick panels. At the sides of that carpet, culpted door panels feature upright, illet handles. In front of the driver, polished and "SS" branded steering wheel laps a polished, itling column. All the glass, ubber, irrors, ardware etc. is all new.
