We just picked up this amazing 1949 Chevrolet 3800 1 Ton Thriftmaster flat bed truck that is inunbelievableoriginal condition. This has to be one of the cleanest, most solid old trucks we have seen in a very long time. It is rust free and every panel is solid and straight. The interior is in great shape and original. Nothing has been cut, changed or modified. It even has the push button starter on the floor.

This would be a great truck for a Micro Brewery, Winery or for any business. I included a picture of how we envision the truck looking if we were to build it for someone. Run it as is, or update the driveline with a 350 crate motor, or even a newer Chevy LS.
The truck is an all original, matching numbers truck with a 235 inline six cylinder motor and four speed manual transmission. THE ORIGINAL ENGINE WAS DAMAGED DUE TO A CRACKED BLOCK. WE ARE CURRENTLY PUTTING A NEW 235 ENGINE IN IT THAT WAS REBUILT ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO BY A WELL KNOWN OLD TIME ENGINE BUILDER HERE IN LOS ANGELES. WE WILL UPDATE PICTURES AS SOON AS THE WORK IS COMPLETE LATER THIS NEXT WEEK.
