2006 BMW Z4 M Roadster Convertible 2-Door 3.2L, Excellent Condition

For sale: one of the most fun BMW M cars, one owner, always garaged and fully maintained. This is the last of the naturally aspirated 6 cylinder engines (with an 8000 RPM redline, can reach 70 MPH on second gear alone). Car has a manual stick with a great clutch and a an assisted mechanical (not electronic) steering column. The car loves to be driven hard (0-60 under 5 seconds), yet if driven gently will get 26 MPG (but that's not the point). The stability program can be turned off, but even when enabled it acts as an unobtrusive assistant to let you slide the car but remain completely in control. Turn it off and its all up to you. The sound of this engine is something else, specially as you drive in the power band and redline to near 8000 RPM.
For a sport car this is a very driveable car when not in sport mode. The roof can be raised/lowered by motor in under 7 seconds, the cabin luxurious and comfortable with heated leather seats, powerful AC and heat, a very good sound system specially when the top is down, bluetoothintegrationfor phone and an iPod cable. Even with the top down the wind/noise level is very good. The trunk is big enough for weekend trips for two (easily) or golf clubs. Dual Xenon headlights is great for visibility at night and the high beams have a very long range.
The driver and passenger seats are both power seats with 3 location driver seat and mirror memory. The heated seats are good for drives on cooler days with the top down. I am including the winddissipatorthat can be installed behind the passengers.
I am the only owner of this car, it has very low miles (was mostly driven for fun), was never left outside, was never driven in snow (you really shouldn't). I replaced the coils and the plugs a couple of years back for maximum performance All scheduled services were performed by BMW dealers. Besides minor wear on the seats the only defects are: a ding on the passenger side mirror, and the manual key for the driver does not work (the car is opened/closed with key fob).
