Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 45k two owner miles. Collector's Edition like every other '96 Roadmaster. Loaded up with power everything. Boasting GM's Corvette inspired multiport injected 5.7L LT1 V8 engine and 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission, she puts down plenty of power. Tow package with 2.93 limited slip rear end (GW9 & G80 build codes). Trailer preparation "tow package" means the factory rated the car to pull 5000 lbs but these did not come from the factory with hitches so all hitches are aftermarket. This car has a light duty hitch. Delivers consistent 16 in town and 24 highway at 70 mph. Clean history - send me your email address and I'll send you the history report showing lots of maintenance.

Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without smoking, missing or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature. Newer battery & good charging system. New starter, new fuel pump. Starts easy and runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs beautifully. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors.
EXTERIOR:Body: Body is very straight - one tiny ding on hood and one small dent on right rear door pretty well hidden in the woodgrain. View images full size to see details. Above average. Paint: Paint is above average for 20 year old car. A couple small nicks low on right rear door. Very nice overall - see pics. Wood: Upper wood trim was removed, painted, and reinstalled, so not peeling like most of these are. The side panel fake wood is in great shape (still shiny, not faded). Only peeling a little around the license plate area like they all do. Other: Lower stainless bright trim is mostly in good shape. One small ding on tailgate trim. Rubber side trim is all there. Windshield and all other glass are good with no chips, cracks or scratches. Undercarriage is remarkably solid - see the pics - undercoated since new. Underhood sheet metal in good shape, tailgate sill and door jambs are solid as seen in pics. Hubcaps are in good shape.
INTERIOR: Interior of the car is very nice as you'd expect of the low miles. There are some stains and a bit of carpet wear from setting the parking brake on the driver's carpet; other carpet areas nice. Dash has no cracks, seating areas are great - leather is still soft and not hard/brittle. Headliner in good shape. Steering wheel is in nice shape. No smoke or pet odors. Very nice interior overall.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) ALL power options work reliably, including power windows, power locks, power seats, hot heat and cold A/C, tilt, cruise, AM/FM cassette, power antenna, keyless entry, rear window release, rear wiper, intermittent wipers, and rear defroster. Newer A/C compressor (4 years old.)
DRIVEABILITY: Drives out very nicely. Steering is tight, alignment is good, suspension is tight. Brakes work well with good linings. Tires have about 90% tread remaining front, 20% rear, on two matched pairs of good quality radials. Solid, quiet exhaust with no leaks. Check engine light is not lit (except at start up as it should.) No complaints - drive anywhere.
