1962 Amphicar Serial Number 100060 Earliest so far found.

We think we have one of the earliest Amphicar's around. It is a 1962 Model 770 Serial Number 100060which makes it a rare car to own and show at swim meets. The car has been at a body shop for the last 2 years and has had all the body work done and painted Red. The car does run and drive currently but needs to be reassembled and finished out. We have all the original parts in boxes that came with the car. We have a clear blue Texas title, not a salvage vehicle. The engine and transmission work great no problems. We have not had it in the water since we are not close to fresh water. This car is very unique and will make a fine addition to anyone's collection when complete. President Johnson had one of these cars and had a blast with it, driving into the lake telling people the brakes were out.
